OCTOBER 2025 ASTROLOGY NEWSLETTER
Hello Oktober, guess what? Yes, of course we’ll be celebrating your fest, although it will probably have to wait till a little later in this month of changes and transitions. Apparently, as my sky scope is stating, we’ll have to stomp through a brusque thicket of aspects for a while before we can land on your grass, pints and pretzels in hand. And we shall.
Early month’s powerful full moon, in closest perigee to earth, will not be wasting any time in delivering its message to us little human dwellers.
If I may paraphrase what I suspect is its theme here: “time is short and we have work to do, so let’s get on with it.”
Amidst these turbulent global times with so much grief, tragedy and cruelty, a star of hope looks to rise under two beautiful aspects. Yes, you read that right. My favorite days would be the 13-14th and then the peaceful new moon in Libra, followed by a copacetic gift from Venus with the big guys Pluto and Uranus on the 23d, should hand us some positive notes. Wind chimes, even some fun times? Fingers crossed.
Later month, as Libra days morph into those of Pluto ruled Scorpio, we may expect some rather decisive events that’ll be rather dynamic, matching up to the remainder of 2025.
All of this will be covered, a couple of newsworthy charts and as usual, several close birthday pods further down. I may add that close aspects are mentioned for specific birth Sun’s dates, not generalized into a 30 day Sun sign package. I had to say it and now, Pumpkin spice latte in hand, I’m hopping onto my broom and here we go.
THOUGHTS ON THIS CYCLE :
October’s first day arrives under a void moon until sundown which coincides with today’s sacred Jewish Yom Kippur, where fasting continues until later hours. Except for Thursday’s late morning Sun trine to the moon in Aquarius, I’d hold back as any information looks complicated with Mercury not getting what he wants from the big guys. Let’s just get ready for what is likely the biggest moment of the month.
October 6th Yes, it’s full moon time, later Saturday the 6th (8:45 pm PST) at 14 Aries. Keep in mind that there is a contrast to their opposite paths. While Libra’s symbol highlights the need to align with one another and observe certain set rules, the Aries symbol focuses on the individual, saying, I am ! Aries, while courageous can be almost warlike when challenged. A person with this moon may feel a drive to create their own patterns and meanings rather than simply conforming to what is expected.
The other interesting piece is Mercury’s move into Scorpio right now, conflicted with Pluto and even Uranus. This will probably bring out what’s been hidden, secrets, lies and files? The shouts and mess of messages, with Mars like a tiger in Scorpio, well it’s all going to be something!
In searching for a deeper meaning I looked up the Sabian Symbol for 14-15 degrees of Aries and found James Burgess’ very interesting description. He matched up of these degrees to the weaving of a ceremonial Indian blanket meant to include all the parts of one’s self, desires, plans, in order to become a unique beam of light!Therefore saying it bluntly, the basic description of this month would be to overthrow that which does not serve and instead unite all in finding the light .
October 7- 9th The 7th is your day Vlad, but the Putinesque birthday cake doesn’t light very many candles I’m sorry (?) to say. Zelensky’s chart is harshly aspected right there too. This date also carries a tragic memory from two years ago. Let’s see what later month might show in terms of any, however slight reconciliations? Meanwhile two other charts being harshly aspected these few days, are that of JD Vance and our President. We can blame Mars, hitting both chart’s fixed squares. We have to blame someone! Neither chart is very friendly towards the other. A power conflict might be looming up here. No mistake, these are raucous days when not only those three, but many others, while hiding in their bunkers, will probably be drawing rings around Saturn.
July, October, January and April 5 – 7th birthdays need to use caution and avoid any unpleasant meetings.
October 13 – 14th My fave two days with Venus’ entrance into her best place, in Libra, are here! She’s setting a loving bond trined in air with Uranus and Pluto, love, friends, art. Gearing up for some peace talks maybe because the shifts and changes are incipient. It’s looking a little like the 60’s again. Oktober fest you may come in now !
October 18 -19th Our wishes for a better world may even receive blessings now, from the Hindu New Year Festival of Lights! Diwali honors light over darkness, the triumph of goodness over evil, and knowledge over ignorance, all celebrated on moonless nights of October or November. I’ll join in with my own row of lights, remembering the wish just expressed by the Catholic Church’s Pope Leo who asked the various world’s religious faiths and followers to unite in prayer for global peace.
October 21st Further along the skyway I’m excited to share this a surprisingly pleasant, even calm, yes you read that right, new moon at 28 degrees of Libra. Given the recent stellar positives, I’m thinking that this lunar moment may harken to an upward shift in certain global affairs! I’ll take that given what comes next.
October 23d It’s different now with the Sun entering the sign of Scorpio, snarked at by Pluto, and Jupiter in square to Chiron for several weeks. Things look to be prepping up for some decisive days. We’ve had Neptune retreating back into the sign of the fishes, close to Saturn, and both in close detriment to Trump’s chart. This would typically create a malfunction to the Sun, his body and self. Bluntly put, this speaks of an ongoing health or some other difficult matter, up through February 2026. Karma and Saturn here we go.
October 28th We can thank Tuesday’s workaholic Capricorn moon Capricorn for a powerful and productive day. It’s all on overdrive way up to later night just before Mercury slows down and the moon goes void.
October 30 -31st, Planning for a joyful weekend night with kids in costumes ringing doorbells for treats? Or will it be a trickster of a Howl O Ween, that is if anyone watches the news . Instead of being a ghost of a host, I’m wishing everyone the best of what October’s better moments may deliver. And just as the early month‘s Sabian full moon’ s symbol suggested, I’m onto that beam of light ! What about you?

BIRTHDAYS OF NOTE: The following birthdays are based on the very close degrees of the Sun if closely aspected present month. I don’t generalize on a large swath of 1- 30 dates for which I could never be specific, but Sun Sign astrology can be entertaining and financially successful.

OCTOBER 6 -7th It’s a pretty intense full moon so not a quite birthday, not at all. However some nice parts from Jupiter and Venus with the lunar nodes no less, are also part of this birthday card!
OCTOBER 19- 21st These are special days of this month for you as well! This new moon should certainly bake a nice birthday and solar return cake for you birthday children on the 21st exactly. And aded to all of these dates is the lovely connection of Mercury and Mars in Scorpio. I hope that works out well for you ! It just depends on your own specific natal chart aspects. But this birthday moon is your star!
OCTOBER 23 – 26th A little careful here for the year ahead with that slight STOP sign from Pluto, all depending on your exact chart of course. But the nice part is that nice Jupiter to Neptune and Saturn piece, as in Dream On.
NOVEMBER 5 – 18th You have such nice helpful and supportive aspects to your Suns from the 8th to 28th of this month. Yes! Later birthdates have those close degrees on slightly later further days but still, it’s pretty close and it’s great!
NOVEMBER 19 -22nd Late later month is worth mentioning because the incredible team work for your Suns and selves is pretty terrific! Mars right over head the held up by Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn. Go for it!
NOVEMBER 22- 25th Now there is some good news for you thanks to that lovely aspect and helping hand from both Saturn and Pluto! And the outer asteroid friends !
DECEMBER 9- 12th Very early month’s few days look a little bumpy for your sky, so hold back just a little. Your chart has other aspects that could spell a different story.
DECEMBER 16 – 18th Oddly enough that very rare once in 51 year joining of Eris the female Mars, and Chiron, wounded but helpful healer, is in a perfect alignment to help you accomplish whatever you’re thinking of!
DECEMBER 19 -21st That new moon on the 21st is a gift for you and it’s very uplifting . I’m sure you ‘ll feel it too! Another brief favorite time for you would be Oct. 2nd and 3d. Mental gifts! This is helpful given that Neptune is backing off from sending you a speeding ticket or something.
JANUARY 5- 7th Just lay low around these full moon dates because it’s kind of intense for your charts. But those early days also show Mars helping you out in his strongest location Scorpio of course, the in comes Mercury to help after.
JANUARY 10- 13th lucky for you to have this lunar nodes so powerfully supportive along with Mercury and Mars for most of the month! A gift !
JANUARY 16- 19 th I’m not that happy to warn you about this obstructive aspect from that rare formation of Eris, female Mars, with Chiron to you Suns. Thy will pass along, Chiron quickly. The nice part is how much help you have from the outer guys, Saturn and Neptune! The really good part arrives right around your next birthday! Not too far off.
JANUARY 22- 23d. Ok want to find a reason to celebrate? Well here it is! Exactly on the 13-15th of this month, that lovely Venus to Pluto (conj your Sun in Aquarius ) and then withUranus! What a gift!
FEBRUARY 5- 8th, Crazy as it may sound after my write up of the full moon, it actually likes your Suns and will deliver some important energy over to you. Only note of caution comes mid month when Mars squares your Aquarius Suns, say the 10th to the 15th.
FEBRUARY 15 -19th That very rare aspect of Eris and Chiron together in Aries is just right for you, call it inspiring! I’ m so happy for you! That is really helpful especially on those short days when Mars will be in square to your selves and Suns. Be careful on that last week of the month.
FEBRUARY 20 – 21st The full moon on the 21st is pretty great for you ! Air likes Air.
FEBRUARY 23- 24th A very slight bump from Uranus over in early Gemini may bring on a little buzz of trouble for a while, but it’ll be moving on in a few months and that Mars into Scorpio very early month and Mercury into Scorpio later month, in case you need a good doctor or lawyer.
MARCH 1- 20th I never do this, but this rare event must be mentioned because, Marching along aside you for most of this month you’re lucky to have both Mercury and Mars in Scorpio, close pals! And you can’t pay money for this either. What fun ! As the day swollen Jupiter stands by in its exalted placement of the moon s sign of Cancer, so perfect for you !
MARCH 18 -20th Neptune turning back to add some depth to your fab selves is pretty nice but more especially later month when Mars joins in! Yes! close to pumpkin day!
MARCH 21- 23d What I find especially fascinating is this lineup in early air and fire to your Suns! Have you been handpicked to start the new order? I mean its kind of incredible. Ok the dark moon with Saturn an Neptune, all sextile to Pluto, sextile Uranus. I cant wait to hear your thoughts you children of the future!
APRIL 5- 7th Well to have that wild intense full moon over your head will be something to talk about . Excitement doesn’t begin to cover it. Don’t go too over board.
APRIL 20 – 22nd How much do I love this new moon for you ? A lot! Now holding on a little those very early days and then the very late couple of days . Other wise not too much that is exact.
APRIL 16 – 18th Have I mentioned this before? About that rare conjoining of Eris, the female Mars, with Chiron only once every 51 years ? And this time they chose you! Its life changing and also pretty exciting. Later November in to early December will find the activation key, but you ‘re on it now.
MAY 9 – 12th Normally a few planets in the opposite sign of Scorpio din sit that well with Taureans , but right now the lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu, are making it all very nice matching up with your exact degrees. Its a lot of action but its all fine.
MAY 19 – 24th Wow this is so amazing! You have that beautiful arrangement of Pluto 1 degree Aquarius, Uranus same degree over your Suns in early Gemini! And best days would be the 13 – 15th of this month thank you to Venus making perfect trine all in air to those outer guys!
MAY 26 – 30th Air loves air so the very early days will fly, but even more interesting is to have the alignment all month of the so called dark moon (Lilith) in early Aries, who wanted to tell the real story but wasn’t allowed to. She wanted thing to go her way!
JUNE 5 -7 th Ok, that full moon time same dates as yours will seem pretty exciting but don’t let it take you over the edge even though it’s positive for you . Then later month you’ll have a fun friend called Venus to make your days look brighter and, with or without makeup.
JUNE 10- 12th Early week especially just stand back and don’t expect very much. Its about Venus and the lunar nodes. Then last week its the opposite and you have Venus for your pal!
JUNE 20- 21st The new moon dark as a new moon is, should lighten your own Sky! It’s full of hope and its great !
JULY 5- 7th Ok, that full moon on these dates could make things a little rough and crazy for you.Just ket it slide by you have other helpful aspects . And! With Mars and Venus in Scorpio you have a lot of friends up there for most of the month, along with nodal support. No complaints.
JULY 20 -21st The new moon is a bit of a non friend to you but very late month Mars trining your Suns with the addition of Neptune and Uranus is really nice!
JULY 23- 24th Utmost caution for you right on and just after early month’s crazy full moon. Avoid meeting with your doctor or $$ advisor till later.
JULY 30 – AUGUST 4th Very early month up to the 11th be very careful as Mars in Scorpio isn’t friendly to your Leo Suns. Now, the earlier days here are exact a few days before the 11th. Mid month, Mercury does the same, for a couple of days. Later month, from the 20th on, you’ll have Venus riding with you in her new Hummer.
AUGUST 6- 8th I know it’s a wild full moon but it also aligns nicely with your energy and ambitions !So use it well that same weekend! Only note of caution comes mid month when Mars squares your Leo Suns, say the 10th to the 15th.
AUGUST 17- 19th You’re ok until after the 23d, when Mars goes into later Scorpio and hits your Suns, say the 25th to the 30th. Avoid risky travel and crazy talks.
AUGUST 23- 27th Very early month, then from the 8th to the 10th you have solid pals over in the Scorpio wagon. Earth loves water, ya know. Just use caution with Uranus trying to flatten your tires occasionally. I know I’ve said this before,
SEPTEMBER 5- 8th Early earth Virgoans you solid angels, how nice to have such help early month and even more so the support of the lunar nodes to all that you are and what you’re doing! And mid month Mars and Mercury have your back too! Write away!
SEPTEMBER 15 – 18th So nice for you to have this month long gift of support from Jupiter, and later month from Mercury and Mars. This is so helpful to anything you’re trying to accomplish!
SEPTEMBER 20 – 25th Wow lucky you, to have Pluto over in Airy Aquarius holding you ups is just amazing! It’s been and will be life changing I’m sure! HavingUranus activating your mental self is such an additional drug free gift!
