JULY 2025 ASTROLOGY NEWSLETTER
Hello fellow star friends yes, we’ve just arrived at the half year mark of 2025. Early July will grace us with calming waters, which by mid to later days will swell into historic riptides. Let’s look at the month in detail.
We are entering transformative times. So much is changing globally as planet earth mirrors the message of the stars back at us. All four outer planets arrival into Aries, Gemini and Aquarius, will usher in the new era. These next 31 days will also host 4 planets moving retrograde . Much is at stake: for certain nations will have changes in leadership. Protests and uprisings have already begun across the globe.
Change doesn’t come easily, and resistance speaks up as old forms disintegrate and new discoveries make way. Leading the pack would be an exuberant Uranus freed from earthy Taurus, and moving into Gemini ruled by Mercury – the articulate god of action to use words and action! We have arrived, standing at the threshold of such a new era. This letter is a little longer than usual because there was a lot to cover. So step in, buckle up, goggles on for better viewing, and here we go.
THOUGHTS ON THIS CYCLE
July ’s early days start off with a helpful and solid Mars Jupiter connection should anything need to be fixed or completed. There’s even a romantic vibe still in place from the weekend’s Venus merging with Uranus in sensual Taurus. Neptune will slide retro but still remain in Aries, on our nation’s fourth. Even brighter news this first week arrives when the last of the 4 outer sky gods will have moved into early air. It’s going to be a new time for Science, technology, creativity and innovation.
One really nice part of 2025 is having Jupiter in its most exalted sign, Cancer, where he’ll remain up to mid 2026. In ancient Roman times Jupiter, known as Jove, was celebrated as the god of excitement, generosity and even financial benefits. Let joviality and hope fill your holiday weekend.
Another interesting piece is that Pluto will be going in and out of his new home at one degree of Aquarius, connected to the fixed star Altair, the Flying Eagle, for the next 6 months. With hardiness, courage and generosity listed as Altair’s character traits, it’s exciting to see the beam of encouragement it will soon send to Uranus in Gemini. In fact it’s happening right here on right here on July 7th.
Uranus in Gemini has been history making with significant changes in science and tech advances. Back in June 1942, the last time Uranus entered Gemini FDR approved a plan to assign the Army Corps of engineers the task of producing an atomic weapon before the end of the war. All of which was pretty remarkable for the times. Then the first electronic digits computing device, the Aranasoff-Berry Computer was created an nicknamed ABC.
July 10th Right here, with early month’s softly waters still lapping at some shores comes one of the better days of this month. Thursday’s full moon in Capricorn (1. 37 pm pdt), vedically in the Purvashadha part of Capricorn, known for structural, law abiding, and peaceful endeavors. Together with the Cancerian Sun both are aligned perfectly with the lunar nodes. We might say there’s hope for some decency in the world. One more positive note for this full moon is the widely celebrated and revered Hindu festival of Guru Purinima, that honors all gurus (teachers, leaders) and swamis (the blessed ones). Candles and flowers anyone?
Fun as it sounds, not everyone is going to be feeling jovial under this full Buck moon. Two natal charts in particular, Putin and Trump’s are not happily set up under this moon. Times are getting more interesting, just keep the happy parts safe, even if it means avoiding the news.
July 13th A change in the political and global weather as Saturn moves into retrograde today at 1.56 Aries next to that harsh fixed star Deneb Kaitos, that signals the need for emotional and physical restraint. When a planet stations retro it intensifies its impact for a short time. We saw a recent trigger on June 22nd, when Neptune, Saturn and Deneb were in an exact T square to the Sun and Jupiter at zero Cancer, and America bombed Iran. I might add one other historical note, which is that the astro aspects of the May 5, 1945’s ending of WWII, matched right up to this same star.
July 15 -19th Tuesday’s early lineup in early Aries favors the other early air and fire planets, not later day as much. That Mars square Venus, both hitting nodal karma points gets even more serious through later Thursday. Global and national issues amping up now, are even turning into a kind psych and political heatwave. The Sun in Cancer, in direct conflict to a rare connection of Chiron and Eris in Aries can make trouble if in hard aspect. This duo of the wounded healer with the female version of Mars, occurring once every 50 years, was one of the triggers seen in certain charts from tragic Palisades fires early January. Birthdays on these specific dates: 17- 19th of January, October, April and July should take caution. Of course when I mention certain dates to watch for, much does depend on one’s own natal chart for more specific and mitigating aspects. Mars is now sending sudden bumps or drones over to Trump’s planet Uranus. That’s not an ok aspect for anyone, being a marker of sudden, unwanted surprises, and life does appear to get harder for him these next several days.
The July 18th calendar has the 4th retro Mercury standing still as it begins its move backwards until August 11th. With Mercury retros I always look to see what it aspects, if helpful or not so much. Thursday to early Friday’s has a nice 4 way line up in mid air and fire: Mercury in Leo, moon in Aries, earth mother Ceres in Aries, and Venus at Gemini, for a short moment that likes those early air and fire Suns. I do have to mention the even slightly better moments so one can Use Astrology and not the other way around. With Neptune, Saturn, Pluto and now Mercury all in reverse it’s a clear message for everyone to re-evaluate and review what has happened in the past weeks and months.
July 20th heading into later July, we’ll take a look at certain charts on the world stage. Today’s Gemini moon tight in the Venus and Mars fracas, is looking rather unfortunate for Donald Trump. Maybe he doesn’t have the cards, or else it’s just the astrology aspects that are lined up in squares and oppositions to his natal Sun, Moon and lunar eclipse degrees. I shall include Pete Hesgeth, who will sometime soon probably be riding down the escalator to the basement, no gold ornaments attached. By the end of month, the Martian fist of August first will probably bring down a hammer of sorts for him. As for the fire fueled aspects affecting Bibi Netanyahu’s chart present time, harder aspects might arrive by September and the same for Vladimir Putin. A real issue would be the disruption leveled at both our own USA birth chart’s news and communication hard natal aspect, and that of our US Constitution’s strong legal setup. Or just call this the civil war of 2025. There, I said what many of us are thinking.
July 22nd to 25th Things are getting very serious right now. Earth and weather disturbances ? Now both Mars, and Venus through the rest of the month will manage a direct hit over at the harsh fixed star, Sheat. This star has often been involved with water, mining accidents plus other weather breakouts. Adding to the volume is Thursday’s New Moon in Leo (12:11 pm pdt), facing sword to sword directly over at Pluto. We do have the aspects from Saturn and Neptune at 1. 5 Aries to slightly uplift this, although their exact connection to the dangerous fixed star, Deneb Kaitos doesn’t help.
Hey, did that bunker buster bomb just break our US news? Or did it also fly over Kyiv and Moscow, Tel Aviv and Tehran? The global and political war temperature is rising to one of its highest fahrenheit degrees and it’s not even fair! Safety required on all fronts. We’re in the Age of Aries, with its Martian attitude of “fighting for one’s rights.”
I’m thinking about Vlodymyr Zelensky’s chart and how the lunar new moon will affect his early Aquarian planets. It appears to be a very decisive moment for him, and in spite of this I do think he will make it through. Then, as was mentioned several letters back, Russia is right at its 36 year point of huge governmental change, remembering the historical events of 1989, 1953, and 1917. I think we’ve reached the harshest days of July’s planetary signs letting loose its disruptions, betrayals and violence. Safety is required on all fronts.
July 30 – August 1st. Mars andVenus’s domestic crisis will split up by early August. Check to see if their bickering influences any of your birth Suns on the 18 – 25th of December, March, and June. In scrolling back to find any tight connections between Pluto and Uranus up came the later 1960’s. The protest movements included anger about the Vietnam War, civil rights, women’s and gay rights. With Pluto Uranus working together the story always matches right up to causes of freedom and fairness for The People. Will we be seeing such social upheaval present time? That is the question.
Then I’ll leave you with this from Stephen Hawking: “We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the universe, that makes us something”

BIRTHDAYS OF NOTE: The following birthdays are based on the very close degrees of the Sun if closely aspected present month. I don’t generalize on a large swath of 1- 30 dates for which I could never be specific, but Sun Sign astrology can be entertaining and it certainly makes money.
Normally a true birth time will provide an accurate rising sign and degree of the moon. Call these the Three Majors. Then we can begin to talk true astrology. The Sun is still very significant for it represents the soul’s manifestation in the outer world, health issues and then the house position gets even more specific. JUNE 30 – JULY 5th what a collection of nice lineups for you first part of this month! Be sure to use wisely the structure, sanity and support shown by Mars for all these dates. The Scorpio moon of the 6th is extra nice too.
JULY 6 – 11th I don’t usually do dates this close this except the aspects are so direct, your bday solar return charts all have this incredible new spark of early air and fire. What will you create this bday year, baby Einsteins ? 10th and 11th bdays have a full moon in Capricorn, another steady creature all nice with the lunar nodes! Lucky!
JULY 14 -19th Getting a little more tricky with these birthdates, some differences of opinion, emotional and practical. Be a bit careful, impulse control for you moon and heart flavored guys.
JULY 24 -25th full moon birthday, ok some help from the sky expat to your Suns, your health and self. A mixup or mishap crossing angle of Mars against Venus suggests just wait a few days for that to clear up. But the best part is in the first sentence.
AUGUST 1- 3d A very brief pod of dates for you but worth mentioning, the 7 -12th of this month show up with some really nice energy and affection!
AUGUST 6- 11th I m really liking what I see here, and specifically for these August bdays! It’s the 14- 18th of July. Call it a pretty upbeat week for your Suns -selves.
AUGUST 25 -31st These later Augustians should live it upon the first week of July especially, since you’ll have a nice pair of hands called Mars and Jupiter to light your fires.
SEPTEMBER 5 -10th Be a bit careful these 7 – 20th of the month. Yes Mars riding over your Suns bring drive and energy but the Venus square adds confusion, in work and love.
SEPTEMBER14 -18th Ok the only thing standing out for you would b the first five days and its a wowzer! So much excitement with Uranus and Venus !! Your name isn’t Jeff Bezos planing another wedding is it? Late month tells a slightly different story, hopefully no regrets.
SEPTEMBER 23- 27th Well you’ve sure lucked out with these early air and fire gods matched up to your Suns! All month! Talk about brilliance and creativity! And by Jove, You’re on!
OCTOBER 1- 5th Best times for your Suns would be the first half of the month. Then old Jupiter comes in as sort of block to your plans and selves. The fun future part will be the uplift and excitement that Uranus will bring into your life by mid 2026 through 2027!
OCTOBER 17 -19th There’s a very rare unique aspect facing over at you and you’ve felt it i’m sure. It speaks of a tremendous inner change and for some depending on your natal charts, it can be pretty great, others, hmm, we’ll see. just now theres only a slight boost from Venus, Mercury. The more positive dates arrive late month.
OCTOBER 24 -25th Maybe I shouldn’t mention it, but I am, the full moon in early Leo of these same dates square to Pluto and your own early Scorpio Suns is not fun. Just know that in the early month’s days you’ll Jupiter as a huge friend and support .
NOVEMBER 1- 5th You lucky Scorps, for most of the month good ol’ Jove (Jupiter’s Roman nickname) is moving up to hold you head heart and hand by later month! And, you’ll even have clue earlier days from Mars. Yes!
NOVEMBER 10- 13th What dates stand out the most for these Novembrists are the 18 -25th July. Why is that? Well the line up to your Suns, selves and energy and plans are highlighted in a very significant way, inviting some aspect of destiny and “meant to be isms”. It’s ok!
NOVEMBER 20 -22 Well those early 3 days will invoke or invite? some kind of wild emotional tugging that you may have been familiar with anyway. Then, at the very end of the month, fireman Mars turns around and fixes it, still warm but no smoke. Its ok. read the next one, because in a few months, it’s your turn!
NOVEMBER 23 -25th I have to send you some roses because I’m so happy to tell you that these early air and fire planets in Aries, Aquarius and Gemini, all joined to help you accomplish what you’ve wanted! And the full moon in Leo on the 24th really likes you a lot !
NOVEMBER 30 – DECEMBER 4th Now the first ten days will be slightly obstructive, no thanks to Mars. Then with Mercury and even that black moon Lillith bitch, you’ll have some positive action almost the entire month.
DECEMBER 8 -15th Be especially careful around the 15 -25th of this month. Its a lot to handle butI had to say it. July 14th, 15th and 20- 21st especially. Better dates for you are especially come early September, so write it down.
DECEMBER 17 – 20th The best part of the July August September sky for you Decembrists is that Chiron and Eris duo at 24 – 27 Aries in perfect geometry to your Suns ! incredible! I can put up with that late month 3 day aspect of Mars and Venus fight affecting you . So what.
DECEMBER 28 – JANUARY 4th Early month the sky gods Mars and Jupiter really like you a lot! Happy 4th weeknd ! Later month not as many direct aspects but first part is good!
JANUARY 10- 11th You lucky goats because of the Full moon on these same dates! Later month, 20 – 25th inspite of some harsh global aspects, you do have a friend in Mars supporting and providing needed energy.
JANUARY 21 – 23d This is incredible! That fab trine between Pluto and Uranus to your natal Suns and selves is fantastic for your selves, wishes, dreams and actions. The new moon on the 24th isn’t much of a problem due to Saturn and Neptune’s help.
FEBRUARY 1- 3d. Well early July and very late month into August, Mercury next to your Sun speaks of both physical and mental action. Venus joins the party early days to mid month. Not too bad.
FEBRUARY 15 – 20th Well what a nice time for you mid to later month to have Venus shining over you and! biggest of all is the Aries sextile ( all good )from Chiron and Eris sextile as well!! Friends, social, out there, happy. Slightly problematic but moving away for these later birth dates is the trouble you’ve experienced from that Venus with Uranus square.
FEBRUARY 25 – 29th early month Jupiter is gifting you with certain news and actions. And on the same early days, Mars joins in to help.The Scorpio moon of the 6th helps as well.
MARCH 7 -15th Best advice is to be especially careful around the 15 – 25th of this month. It’s a lot to handle but I had to say it. Early March birthdays are in line for the earlier dates July 14th, 15th, those 10 to 15th birthdays careful dates closer to 20- 21st. But Jupiter is heading your way in a few weeks and want August be nice ! But just know that the full moon of the 10th, close to a couple of your exact birthdays, is just wonderful!
MARCH 22- 24th This is so great for you to have that early air and fire aspect so exact to your charts! So how will you use this dynamic of creativity and thought? It’s a rare gift. And the New moon of the 24th shines for you as well .
MARCH 30 – April 4th Some really nice help from Venus and Mercury early to mid month for you and that great because it will subdue any negativity from that Jupiter blockage to your plans and even $. Just Short time.
APRIL 7-10th It’s a bit of a bump to have the full moon and then Mars and the south node slightly holding you back mid month. But you do have friends with Venus and even Lilith!
APRIL 17 – 19th Having that cosmic life changing duo of Chiron and Eris over your sky is itself marvelous life changing and positive. Slight off moment around the 17, 18th. it flies off.
APRIL 22- 25th Ok please all of you early Taureans be somewhat careful around the new moon of the 24th. Not too much fun for you. But the good part is what Jupiter gives you early month. Something really nice!
MAY 10-11th Can you believe that the full moon of these same dates with it’s gorgeous aspect is lined up perfectly for you? Then even Mars decides to ride his bike with you an the lunar nodes as well! Big month and it’s pretty nice !
MAY 21- 24th This is incredible! That fab trine between Pluto and Uranus to your natal Suns and selves is fantastic for your wishes, dreams and actions. The new moon on the 24th is really nice for you and adds ma really nice spark! Along with Saturn and Neptune’s help. A rare gift .
MAY 26 – 31st Later May babies have the fun part in very late July with a Leo Sun and Mercury to push, lift, and drive you, physically and mentally, wherever you want to go.
JUNE 2 – 8th The fist part of July shows a contrast, lots of nice energy from Mercury, and Venus. But I always care about safety so the 7th for early bdays, then caution needed closer to mid month for 7 and 8th bdays. Bt you do have some nice pals up there.
JUNE 15 -20th Well, what a nice time for you mid to later month to have Venus shining over you in Gemini, and! biggest of all is the Aries sextile (all good )from Chiron and Eris as well!! Friends, social, out there, happy. Later month’s final days Mars throws an egg at you, but it’s a very runny and short shot.
JUNE 25- 29th early month Jupiter will be gifting you with certain news and actions. And on the same early days, Mars joins in to help.The Scorpio moon of the 6th helps as well. We’ll take anything the sky has to offer.
