Hello Star friends, now with the fire horse’s drama left back in April’s barn, we’ve arrived at Mother Earth’s nature loving month under the full Flower Moon of May first. As Taureans are known for their bovine steadiness and surety, we can let the sheep and cattle go out to pasture now. Oh heck let ’s go with them, since it’s time we prepared for the “bright fire” festival of Beltane.
Considered the most spiritual of the Celtic festivals, super charged with flower decorated Maypoles, singing, dancing, and fires lit for protection of land and cattle, Beltane holds a deeper more sacred meaning. Out from under this joyful revelry, the light from darkness is to be seen. Yes, it’s in the context of our own biological functions, our sensuality, and even the fertility of our own creative communities, where life and light are bestowed in moments of joy.
We can join up with the Celts in lighting our own candles in these special days of sacred intention, to create a life and future of hope and safety.
Enjoy some slightly calmer earlier days, second week especially, as the later days close to, and after the mid month’s new moon could, and probably will lead up to what might even be the flashpoint of the month. The sky has been changing, with so many planets into new chapters, air and fire, not water and earth as much.
Is it just a coincidence that those physical, energetic and mental feelings are signs of a big shift for us Tellurians ? All I can say, whether it be solar flares, inner or outer planetary and magnetic forces, the message is that it’s always best to listen to your own instincts inside your own heart and inner self.
THOUGHTS ON THIS CYCLE
MAY 1st – 8th The 1st of May brings the first full moon on May Day since 1988, and it’s also the Buddhist holy day of Wesak. Celebrated over millennia for the gift of mental and spiritual enlightenment to our consciousness, we might try to elevate our thoughts and intentions for for this weekend. Let’s let that stay with us for a while. Ommm.
Bell ringing now, we’re back, and as was mentioned above, we’re getting close the ancient Celtic festival of Beltane, occurring soon and close to this cosmic event . Astronomy is letting us know that this full moon (May 1st 9:45 am pdt) will be small in context to other full moons, almost tiny in appearance! But don’t be fooled. Astrology knows that full moons in Scorpio, are considered the most powerful of any full moon,t
known to describe even joy, passion, jealousy, love? The Hindu view of today’s lunar arrival in early Scorpio’s business and financially minded Shakti, has some thoughts. Helped along here somewhat by Jupiter, these early Scorpios tend to move freely, even impulsively but right now we all need to try to stay grounded, and not take on too much at once. The Sun opposite in Taurus’ vedic Bharani, promoting new beginnings and breakthroughs, is also highly sensual and often described as “the one who bears responsibility for transformation” with its focus on nurture and nature.
Beltane’s lunar night sky will make up for the smaller moon, with its cazimi of 6 in the Aries usual” I am who I am and you can’t change me’. My fave time of the Beltane weekend would be Sunday. More planets will soon enter into nature loving Taurus which should be a stabilizer for many. Then I must add that in certain circumstance the fixed quality of Taurus can impede certain efforts.
Moving along into the week, Wednesday the 6th and close, are days requiring some careful thoughts and actions. Pluto stationing retro right here, in exact square to that trickster Mercury, with Mars threatening Jupiter, can set the stage for some rash outcomes, secrets and information long hidden, to be revealed? Best advice? Especially for those early 0 to 10 degrees Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius and Scorpio birthday Suns and moons, some of the rest of us? Just keep your wallet and opinions safe, or in the freezer.
May 11 – 15th A few copacetic days play nice here with Mars and Venus moving harmoniously up in Gemini and Aries from Mothers’ day weekend through Tuesday.
May 16 – 23d Saturday’s powerful new moon (1:01 pm pdt) lands in Taurus Krittika, which is the most exalted placement of the moon out of 27 choices that’s Vedic astrology for you). The moon loves to be in Taurus, and this degree is its peak !
May 16th (1:01 pm pdt). We’ve now arrived… Let’s see what this trio of Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Uranus still close, all tight in late Taurus and right on that fated fixed star of falling heads, Algol, might set off. This new moon does appear to be a kind of mirror to February 17th’s Solar eclipse, to complete that intention? Mercury, although slow in Taurus does carry an intellectual influence on money and finance, what have we here ? An energy or food crisis? Warrior Mars, now moving into Taurus, is moving closer to a square with Pluto, yep, serious times right ahead.
MAY 16 – 23d Today’s New moon in Krittika, vedic Taurus’ most exalted degree of the moon, that loves to be in the sign of the bull, but at this degree its at the highest! There is a martial nature to Krittika, related to a commander of celestial forces, however, this sign or nakshtra also speaks of those who foster and nurture others. In this very specific degree, the moon carries a strong ethical internal side and yes, the western word “critical’ was derived from the ancient Sanskrit . Many who have Moons in Taurean Krittika seek inner purification through knowledge and experience while getting to the point if needed back on the material plane. The maternal element is at its prime here and the lovingness is why many will chose a baby’s birth induction date to coincide with this moon, just ask me.
Back on the earth plane I’ll mention a couple of charts that could feel the impact of this lunar event . Interesting that both Bibi Netanyahu and Donald Trump both have Mars at 26 degrees of Leo, and this new moon won’t aspect nicely to that point, call it health and self for both charts. Earlier month’s full moon rammed Mr Trump’s Pluto, in the 12 house of hidden secrets, feelings let down, wasn’t so good for him. ( astrology can show personal reactions although the news media may not see or report that ). Another mention would be that our own natal USA Moon ( ourselves) in late Aquarius will be feeling the emotional impact and disappointment from whatever comes out. More to follow.
May 22 -23d Now comes the information station guru when the Sun meets up with Uranus in Gemini making way for some indulgent moments of news. Hold on, big moments are closing in.
MAY 23 – JUNE 2nd. My eye and scope are right on 3 specific dates, crystals and pearls in hand. The Suns’ meet up with Uranus right here in Gemini, information station, fired up by a few others in Aries up there, yes, and out it will come. May 25 – 27th, Mars and Pluto moving into a tight square, verbal swords and threats, clash and smash.
Seriously, this is big and we might call it a red flag moment. The shift is now underway because the undercurrent has been slowly moving up and what has not been said will soon erupt. Pluto’s voice in Aquarius, demands fair play and freedom for the people. Well reinforced by Uranus and Neptune, the details and explanations will make or break the news under the month’s second full “Blue” moon, on the 31st. This lunation at 9 degrees of Sagittarius sitting with the tough military fixed star Altares, and supported by Saturn, does look like the flashpoint of the month just happened. The Sagittarian desire for truth and justice, while also holding cards for foreign connections, may well exude some better influence on our international relations. As for our July 4, 1776 selves well it looks a little like a marital breakdown, but that’s just right now. Therapy? What I will say is that things do start to look much better as we slide over into Gemini territory. Other than the drama, may you have a beautiful flower filled month.

MAY 16 – 17th A new moon birthday is celebrate by many as a new start a new chapter so just see how that affects you! The nice part is how Venus and Mars are canoodling near you. That’s fun for the year.
MAY 31st – June 3d. What a full moon on the 31st it’s so good with the helpers like Saturn, Pallas and Juno!Mercury is still tight with Chiron so your mental side is being very activated and i like it!
JUNE 7 – 18th Not my usual range of birthdates except that these lucky guys have such a fun time on these dates and close, with both Mars and Venus flirting with each other and you!
JUNE 23 -27th There’s a very special aspect, short as it is, very near the 22- 25th of this month. it has a dee soul meaning so go int0 your deeper self music nature, but privately, and consider what your inner desires are on the higher scale of life for self and ?
JULY 9 – 15th You are so lucky to have the gift giver, Jupiter riding along with you all month! Just don’t eat too much cake but otherwise its so helpful i all your day routines. Do watch out around these same dates when Mars tries to block you . Stay Calm let him go.
JULY 25 – 28th Very nice for you early Leos, you have so many friends in early fire, all in perfect degrees to hold you steady in any and all activities . Pluto has been moving along opposite you but all these players in early Aries turn that right around to a positive!
JULY 31 – AUGUST 1st, Ok that early May Day full moon was in square to your Suns. It was a short episode and you were probably worn out, over loaded. Calm down, you have so much stellar support, from Saturn, (best of all for physical strength) Pallas, Juno, and early on from Mars! You lucky Lion.
AUGUST 8 – 17th From early month (earlier birthdays here) up to May 17th you have such a fun lineup with Venus and Mars! It’s so nice, and you must be looking pretty good along with some bike and surfing energy!
AUGUST 23 – 26th These special birthdays are having some interesting karmic moments very exact around May 19 -23d. It’s deep, so write any thoughts down in your private book. A bit challenging is that Uranus is kicking your door and your feeling some upended ness in which ever situation it may affect. Same dates, later May, brings a gift from Mars and Venus to your Sun and selves! Maybe plan something??
AUGUST 31- SEPTEMBER 1st Wow that full moon of early May was gift to you! The Sun and Moon to your selves gave a nice perk to see you through the month!And later month it gets better.( Mars with Venus to you)
SEPTEMBER 1- 6th Later month, after the 21st you have a nice gift from Mars and Venus to spoil you, flatter and even do your make up! Love is everywhere ! Plan something fun!
SEPTEMBER 7 -16th For much of the month your Suns and selves have a good friend in Jupiter, and it’s pretty nice as an emotional support team and even more!
SEPTEMBER 23 – 28th So interesting how these early Libra Suns got so lucky having in Pluto to enhance whatever you’re cooking up, thinking of, and then add Uranus who will ignite your creative engine! What will you do with all of this fire and drive ! Wow!
OCTOBER 1-3d Just be aware that the obstructor Saturn might be blocking something you are considering, but stay strong because earlier month up to the 9th you have Venus with you, charm central anyone? Dates to be most careful would come very late month, say the 25 to 31st.
OCTOBER 6 -14th For much of the month, that Mars character across from you in Aries, will be annoying and at certain times you must be careful, earlier dates, earlier days of the month.
OCTOBER 16 -18th Just watch out mid month as Mars and Chiron are rocking your boat, hope it’s not your wheel chair. Earlier days to mid way you have Venus being a buddy and a happiness maker!
OCTBER 31 – NOVEMBER 2nd. Well that full moon on the opposite of your calendar did affect your chart and It was ok! Only you high have felt a bit over loaded, who can blame you? The best part comes later May’s last 5 days when Venus arrives with big love package!
NOVEMBER 7 – 15th How lucky can you be ? You’re almost avoiding the new moon, and you have Jupiter and earth mother Ceres riding next to you all month! People might get jealous, so shh. That should bring you some help with anything you’re cooking up !
NOVEMBER 19 – 22nd Very late Scorpios and early Sags have a collection, earth mom Vesta, then Pluto, Saturn for holding you up and strong, and especially Neptune for your inner dreams! Keep that dream journal nearby.
NOVEMBER 29 – DECEMBER 2nd Wow You guys, the late May 31st Full moon lands right in your Suns and selves! Thank god it’s all in a wonderful arrangement, set to fuel your inner fire god.. Not only that you have more friends with Saturn ( physical support) and Pallas Athena (goddess of Wisdom). I can’t find anything negative and I’m trying to!
DECEMBER 13 – 18th Early then mid month you have both Venus and Mars in fire and air, right next to you so have fun whatever you’re up to! 11th – 19th exact dates!
DECEMBER 22 – 25th Something might be getting a bit confusing due to Neptune crossing your Suns and undoing your fishing lines and electrical outlets.. Later month around these same dates you have some nice aspects, Mars and Venus, what could it be ? DoorDash? or Fun Dash?
JANUARY 8 -12th Earth months love other earth months, and hey that’s you Caps! SO much support do you have from Ceres, Jupiter, Mercury up to the 16th. The new moon time of the 16-17 is intense but ok and not at all bad for you fellow earthlings.
JANUARY 16 – 19th Ok these birthdates are close to the new moon dates and, fortunately it’s ok for you guys, and it’s strong! You also have earth mother Ceres in Taurus just in case you need some gardening advice .
JANUARY 21 – 26th All right early Aquarians, do you know how lucky you are to have four or more of the upper sky gods supporting you? I don’t care how old you are , this is electric and my advice is Use It ! Only real date for safety would be May 21 – 27th. We can blame Mars. But the big story is so good! plan something!
FEBRUARY 7 – 10th Well, you sure have friends this month from early days to say the 14th, when Mars and Venus are all yours, then later month Mercury wants your phone number, coffee, chat box ?
FEBRUARY 21 – 23d A very rare and unusual aspect comes for you very close to these same dates! It’s about something very deep within you, heart related but karmic as well. Think about it.
FEBRUARY 24 – MARCH 1st Later month’s last ten days are for you and it so nice, Mars with Venus. So take advantage and maybe plan something ?
MARCH 7 -16th it’s very rare for me to include such a wide swath of birthdates but these sure rang a bell and how fortunate that you’ll have Jupiter as your bestie all month. He’s a gift, to help out in whatever way you may need him, or her.
MARCH 21 – 28th This is so exciting, I mean you all are having such a blast of energy and support from the sky! Some of them in early Aries, your inner security guards, then Uranus approaching the 21- 23d dates but later all in to fuel your creative selves! So get ready, pens handy and then Neptune over head for inspiration! I can’t leave out Pallas Athena ! The goddess of Wisdom! She’s right with you!
APRIL 1- 4th Well how does it feel to have Saturn right over you rehouse and self? Is he being helpful? Or is he messing up some health issue? It just depends on the natal chart. Then the fun part comes along early to mid month from Venus and Mars, and that’s great!
APRIL 16 – 19th Ok, you guys still have Chiron and Eris over your house and selves, but you must realize by now that it’s been pretty amazing! Creative, brilliant and inner soul changing! The only be careful time would be around mid month when Mars jumps in same degree 9 -17th of May. Later month’s last 10 days, Mercury will come to fix your internet, or check in to have coffee and chat!
APRIL 25 – 27th You very early Taureans just hold on because your fave days are coming later in the month, 19th to the 27th . Get ready. It’’s Fun Time!
