APRIL 2026 ASTROLOGY NEWSLETTER

Hello April!  I see you’re lining up your calvary with that stellium of planets in Aries, so what’s your plan do you mind my asking?  Ok I get it, the Fire horse of the year has galloped to the center stage, over to US, claiming this is going to be his month —and mouth?  Now, kicking his front hoof out at Pisces’ fish tail, he’s demanding that we saddle up, and get on with it in this month with no retrogrades! 

On the road we shall go, by passing Mercury and Mars late in Pisces still setting their slightly mellow pace.  Galloping along further, the sky begins to brighten under an expansive full even pink moon, then it’s on to a month of great intensity, and the birth pains of a new era.   As I may have mentioned previously but need to repeat, this oncoming triumvirate of the four outer planets in early air and fire  hasn’t happened in 6000 years, not since 4300 BC.  This month in particular sets the bar for the confrontation and conflagration that precedes the ultimate transformation which does await us down the road.  I”m not leaving out the various descriptives attached to this upheaval, yes it can be explosive, volatile even surgical and war like. 

 

For that reason I’m carefully watching certain days, like the full moon in Libra on the first, a major shift the 9 -10th, then the dynamic new moon on the 16 -17th in late Aries, often attributed to physicians and healers. Those are the key dates which will probably keep many of us on our toes and telescopes. 

THOUGHTS ON THIS CYCLE 

 

April first, and the Fool’s pranks and jokes have already happened, so instead let’s check out this  early month’s full Pink moon, named for a wildflower in northeastern America that blooms in early Spring. The first full moon after the Spring equinox focusses on renewal, spiritual healing and new life similar to the gifts nature provides.  This lunar event ’s (7:12pm pdt)  self assured Aries Sun’s “ I am who I am”  myself, mode, in  contrast to the Libra moon’s tendencies to be a giver and pleaser to others, would tell us a lot about relationships.  The vedic placement  of the early Libra moon in Hasta is very happy to take on whatever responsibilities have been assigned, and handle any legal and justice matters.

This lunation under a square to Jupiter over our July 4th Sun, falls discordantly on our own USA chart’s  “no kings” aspect of  our Sun’s square to Saturn.   Birthdays affected positively would be those in early June, August, October, December and February.  Then early July and January birthdates just be careful, watch your words and actions.  We know we’re in for some serious things in this month of high volatility.  

 

APRIL 3- 5th Moving along into Passover and Easter weekend under a Scorpio moon’s calming watery influence with Mars and Jupiter, should balance out the sky somewhat.  Another aspect of note is the emotional and possible financial restriction that Pluto is putting on Venus and earth mother Ceres as they enter Taurus. This hard aspect’s upsetting nature may specifically affect those April, July, October and January 22 – 27th  birthdays, but Venus ’s quick movements will limit that effect.

APRIL 8- 10th The warrior god Mars, is now entering Aries and he’s standing tall, arrows and guns on his hip through April up to May 19th.  These are days to watch as Mars joins up with Saturn and Neptune, at 1- 4 Aries, in the later Pisces location of Uttara Bhadra, known as the death cot.  The actual meaning of this late Piscean chapter is that death is not just an ending but a transition into a new beginning, and a new life awaits.  

Yes, things are getting more serious and we may hear about the passing of certain persons fatally impacted by this conflict.  

APRIL 13-15th I had to include these dates because we all need as much positivity as the sky and spirit  allows. With Venus now uplifted by her friend Jupiter, and Mercury in late Pisces blending with Uranus in Taurus, all under a Pisces moon can take us back for a moment into a deeper space of thought and creativity. Then just add that energetic trio of Mars and Pluto to Saturn in a harmonious geometry called a trine. We’re fast approaching the Aries stellium so hold on, the most powerful days are just ahead.

APRIl 16- 17th Thursday’s sky now shows eight  planets, Mercury, Sun Moon, Saturn, Neptune, Mars, Chiron and Eris all in Aries, a cosmic event  that has never been seen or recoded before. Friday’s new moon with Eris and Chiron at 27 degrees of Aries (4:52 am pdt), arrives in late Aries’ Ashwini,  “the beginning of everything”.   Symbolized by a female horse’s head, a nod to the divine feminine energy,  it parallels the Norse mythology of the Valkyrie warriors, those supernatural divine female spirits who carried the bodies of the slain warriors to Valhalla.  Likewise the inner message of Ashwini is that of truthfulness and bringing aid. Western astrology’s  April 13 – 27th birthdates all land under the hoofs and heart of the Fire Horse. Saddle up since early to Mid May has some nice aspects for you.  If aspected natally in certain difficult ways, a later Aries early Ashwini person can become impulsive even ruthless. Case in point, Hitler’s April 20, 1899 birth chart. The 2026 Year of the Fire Horse is acting out its role right here in its spirt of adventure and the change is coming now.  Numerologically speaking, 2026 adds up the the number one, new beginnings! 

APRIL 18 -21st Save your powder because these days are getting more intense, with some sharp and acerbic signals igniting the world by the determination of those Mars, Saturn and Mercury equine riders in 7 Aries.  Karmagedda anyone? I know you’re thinking, whose charts are affected by this?  Ok I’ll give you three, that of  Netanyahu, Donald Trump. and America.  Bibi had better hide in under the floor, and as for Trump, well he’ll be experiencing that harsh trigger of Saturn and Mars to his mental confusion and legal issues.  Our own USA?  Well the hit to our relationships with other partners and allies, our reputation, is all sending an unfavorable message.  That being said it may help however modestly, that this  new moon in Ashwini  will send a friendly note over to our natal Moon at 27 Aquarius, as in “ we understands what you’re going through”. 

This brings up another historic parallel to our present state, that occurs once every 120  years.   While plowing through a confusing and upsetting ketu dasha, the Constitutional Congress met in Philadelphia between May and September of 1786- 1787 to address the weak central government that existed under the articles of Confederation.  At the same time the United States faced a severe economic depression due to war debt and internal rebellions over high taxes and foreclosures. Then the  worm turned, and the ketu dasha ended in 1788 just when the United States ratified the Constitution and New Hampshire became the ninth state to approve it.  Our first presidential election was also held that year with George Washington the expected winner.  So yes, the global and political world order, and ourselves are also in a rare and unfriendly kala sarpa yoga until July. That’s that ok.!  However, it all appears to end positively for the US by later March 2027 when the ketu dasha ends.  We just have to get through it. 

APRIL 27- 30th  Wait, I’m beginning to see some daylight peeking through the shutters, and Venus has just moved excitedly over with Uranus now in early Gemini, and lit up by Neptune!  I’m guessing that maybe, since the dinosaurs are leaving soon, will something of the new era that’s about to hatch show itself ?  Call it a plan, an idea, even action ?  Some of us astro sighters do see May into June as a calmer time and in saying that, the warship of April 2026 has now pulled up to a dock labeled May Day, so off we go!

BIRTHDAYS OF NOTE:  The following birthdays are based on the very close degrees of the Sun if closely aspected present month.  I don’t generalize on a large swath of 1- 30 dates for which I could never be specific, but Sun Sign astrology can be entertaining and financially successful.

APRIL 1- 2nd Happy Birthday to you early fire people, the optimism of this full moon in spite of a wide Jupiter hold back, should be pretty nice!

APRIL 16-17th I’m sure you’ve read about these dates, and it’s so powerful I’m hoping your charts will love these late air and fire degrees! It speaks about and ignites your new life chapter! 

APRIL 27- 28th You early Taurean’ s birthdays arrive under a copacetic moon in earthy Virgo.   More interesting would be the  effect of the south node ketu, again blessed by the moon in Virgo, all pointing to a shift of direction for your lives.

MAY 10 -16th Now, as far as I can tell, these exact dates same as yours, have a gift of Venus in collaboration with Jupiter, that can be $ome good news! And the first part of the month has your back as well.

MAY 17- 20th Ok same  dates in this month of  April 2026, show something really big as in a life change or decision, uplifted by Pallas and Vesta! and it all depends on your personal aspects to the Sun, but this is sure helpful ! Uranus has been driving you mad and happy for some time but nows he’s leaving to do the same to the next later May dates.

MAY 21- 24th Ok get excited this amazing never seen in 6000 year arrangement of early air and fire is a lifetime gift for all of you lucky Gems. Later May, hold on your day, and  Uranus with steroids, are coming. It’s positive and wonderful with all of the early Gem’s brilliant  aspects 

MAY 31- June 3d, Lucky for you this full moon on the First likes you a lot, and will deliver some vibrance to your life and self.. Jupiter is hanging out there to be some kind of red flag but its not too serious. 

JUNE 13- 15th I really like these exact dates of April for you! Earlier month that annoying Mercury might be arguing about something, but as the days roll on it’s Ok!

JUNE  16 -18th WOW! This is an amazing time for you given the powerful new moon in harmony with your Suns! You cant pay money for this either! Live it up, do it!

JUNE  30 – JULY 5th Be very careful earlier month, the full moon or flu moon throws a crossbow to your Suns and selves. But hang on because Venus is happily riding  next to you and even Jupiter wide as it is, has left his wallet in your pocket for little longer. 

JULY 16 -18th These birthday Suns had better stay safe somewhere during that out of mind new moon on the 17th, to your brain.  YOu do have soem help from Vesta and Ceres over n watery Pisces, plus If you might have any water and earth signs in your natal  chart that will help.

JULY 23 -26th Well a slight bump for these Suns as Venus upon entering Taurus will be squared by Pluto very early days, means hold back be it finance or anything. Future days will be exciting and vibrant with the team in early Aries!  Late Late month it does a 180 into the opposite and you’re good to go! 

JULY 31-  AUGUST 5th. Happy you under this full moon, and it’s exciting.  You’ll even have Mars filling your tank and charging your surfboards (WWB?) as the month moves on! 

AUGUST 16 -18th Wow this is so fortunate for all of you born under these degrees of the Sun, because that phenomenal new moon, same dates, was arranged just for you! Fire Tiger to Leo Lion time it is!

AUGUST 23- 30th End of April time lines up to your Suns with that very interesting note of karma coming with it.  Just stand back later month due too the tight Mars with Saturn confusing quincx to your Sun.  They’ll be leaving soon. Maybe a touch annoying but the big picture says a lot. Change is on the way and earth mother Ceres has your back especially in the garden early dates for sure. !

SEPTEMBER 4 – 8th Well lucky you, both Jupiter, Venus and Ceres are moving up to grace your exact degree aspects and what a gift! 

SEPTEMBER  16 – 20th  A little hard maybe due to that new moon, same dates, but slowly and surely Jupiter and yep, Venus  are moving over to assist you !  Even though it’s not too bad, the energy giver Uranus, is still sending its cosmic fuel to you! 

SEPTEMBER  29 – OCTOBER 4th The month’s early full moon will drop some light onto your lives but hold on it gets even more exciting further along into the year.

OCTOBER 16 -18th Oh wow that new moon’s  effusion to your chart says a lot as in be careful,  don’t over do anything. It does all depend on your personal charts as I always say, and you may have some air and fire helpers! 

OCTOBER  27- NOVEMBER 1st Very intriguing that you have those lunar nodes in trine and sextile to your deep Scorpio selves! It’s gives huge support encouragement. to you from the universe. 

NOVEMBER  4- 10th, Yes he’s moving other slowly but Jupiter’s positive influence has been a straight up gift to these first 2 dates, and now its bestowing his munificence to the rest of you ! 

NOVEMBER 16 -18th Be careful around the new moon close to these same dates because of the negative bump it may cause, but you do hav friends in Pallas Athena ( wisdom ) and  earth mother Ceres further along into the month. 

NOVEMBER  29 – DECEMBER 4th , this full moon shook bring some excitement into your world, just in case.  Then even more incredible is that lineup and security guard Saturn, ok and Mars the cop guy shining their lights on you! YAAY

DECEMBER 16 -18th Now hold on, this powerful new moon, same dates,  has its eye on you and it Likes you! Energy, drive, don’t over do things and get hurt! It’s meant to be an early Easter surprise,  a chocolate bunny on steroids? A slightly tone of caution early month as Mercury is annoying you just don’t answer the phone. He’ll be leaving mid month.

DECEMBER 20 – 30th Just passing by mid month the sky shifts into a pack of planets all  in early Aries so I want you to take great care of yourselves, the inner guys, Merc, Venus, Mars, move quickly, so by late month a lot has shifted into positive and you’re supported by the nodes of fate and destiny. Saturn can just eat his rings.

JANUARY 4- 7th  Early days of this month like you a lot but caution is required on  the last days as Mars and Jupiter will be bickering closely.  Oh is it money again? Could be, not sure. 

JANUARY 16 -19th Caution required, red flag time on the new moon dates, same as your birthdates. Its a short intense flare but don’t take any chances. and luckily you have some outer sky friends, no to mention Uranus who has been lighting your mind life and fuel for a while now!

 

JANUARY  22- 24th For a brief not shining moment very early month, hold back when Pluto over head sends a bump to Venus, bank account, heart whatever. Then it poses quickly. And the really exciting news is all for you moving later month into early air and fire which you feel! Ice skating like Ilia Malinn?  Carefully .

JANUARY 31 – FEBRUARY 1- 4th Early month’s full moon has your name on it, as in exciting let’s do it!But wait there’s more, as Mars and Saturn unite further along into May it’s like having your own  personal security guard!  Finally!

FEBRUARY  16 -18th As has been mentioned, this powerful new moon is gift for some and that some includes you!  The outer asteroids of Chiron and Eris will stay behind to make sure they’ve given you everything they can. 

FEBRUARY 19 -22nd A bit of caution is required around these same days because that loud rebel Uranus will be making his final exit, but hitting you as he takes off. Good riddance you creep.. The BEST part is having Rahu directly over head for 3 more months, and with Venus early this month. It’s karma time maybe even a  big life change? 

MARCH 4-8th Well you can thank Jupiter for his slow moves in help for  you.  He’s so happy in watery Cancer and likes you a lot in your water tank, intuition, deep feelings, all ok!  Did he leave his wallet in your pocket?  

MARCH 9 – 15th Mid month for you it’s game on, with help from  Vest and Pallas. then very early days you’ll have  Mars and Mercury for inspiration.

MARCH  21 – 27th Well fortunately for these birth Suns the sky is bending over backwards to hand you a gift of surety, called Saturn, then mid month an energy called Mars, and lastly inspiration thanks to Neptune, and even better is Pluto shining a light to the gang and you! What a great time for you !
